Ayushmann Khurrana reveals Roadies win led to breakup with Tahira Kashyap

Ayushmann Khurrana disclosed that he ended his relationship with Tahira Kashyap after winning Roadies but reconciled with her six months later.

During an interview with Mashable Mehfil, the 39-year-old actor shared that prior to marrying his wife, there was a period when he ended their relationship.

The Dream Girl actor shared how he began receiving "attention from girls" after his victory on MTV Roadies.

He said, “It is very difficult to deal with fame when you are 16, 17, and in your teens. I remember I broke up with my then-girlfriend because I was getting attention from other girls."

"I went through that phase when you’re just getting a taste of fame and popularity,” Aayushman Khurrana.

He said that after Roadies, he became a popular face in his hometown Chandigarh, which led to more work and a lot more attention and calling off the relationship as he wanted to live his life.

The Article 15 star said, “I was the most popular guy in Chandigarh at that time and I broke with Tahira saying that ‘I want to live my life’ but after 6 months I went back to her and told her ‘I can’t do this anymore, f*** boy nahi ban sakta main."

Ayushmann Khurrana married Tahira Kashyap in 2008, and the couple now has two children.
