Kim So Hyun to make musical comeback with 'Queen of Tears' OST
‘Queen of Tears’ star Kim Soo Hyun to sing for first time in decade
Kim Soo Hyun is making a long-awaited return to the music scene, ready to serenade fans once again after a decade.
Allkpop revealed on Friday, April 19, that the Queen of Tears star will be lending his voice to the original soundtrack (OST) of the chart-topping TvN's drama, which is also streaming globally on Netflix.
While Kim Soo Hyun has graced our screens with his acting skills in various dramas, it's been ten years since he last showcased his vocal talents.
The last time he captured listeners' hearts was with the OST for his previous drama, My Love from the Star, starred alongside actress Jun Ji Hyun.
In addition, Soo Hyun has also been credited for his voice in the OSTs of The Moon Embracing the Sun and Dream High.
At present, the actor is appearing in the widely lauded drama, portraying Beak Hyun Woo, the husband of Hong Hae In, played by the talented actress Kim Ji Won.
Reportedly, it has been deemed that the highly anticipated OST featuring Soo Hyun's mesmerising voice will capture a husband's heartfelt emotions, expressing deep love for his wife.
Moreover, Queen of Tears has swiftly climbed the ranks to become the highest-rated K-drama on the network, surpassing even Crash Landing in You, which now takes the second spot.
Since its premiere on March 7, the drama has consistently dominated charts on TVN and Netflix.
