Diljit Dosanjh's friends make shocking claims about his personal life

Diljit Dosanjh's friends claimed that the singer is married and a father of one. 

As per a new Indian Express profile, the Punjabi singer is an "intensely private person little is known about his family..."

The report added, "...but friends say his wife is an American-Indian and they have a son, and his parents live in Ludhiana.”

Earlier, during an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Diljit opened up about his childhood, stating that he became distant from his family.

He shared, "I was eleven years old when I left my home and started living with my mamaji (maternal uncle). I came to the city leaving my village behind. I shifted to Ludhiana."

The actor-singer added, "[My uncle] said 'send him to the city with me' and my parents said 'Yes, take him.' My parents did not even ask me… Also, we didn’t have mobile phones back then, even if I had to call home or receive a call from my parents, it cost us money. So I started becoming distant from my family."

Notably, no comments have been made by Diljit nor his team about the latest claims regarding his marriage.  

On the professional front, the singer will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali's film Amar Singh Chamkila.
