Alia Bhatt hails 'Crew' women for 'smashing' box office records

Alia Bhatt lauded Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon's female lead film Crew for smashing box office records.

On March 30, the Heart of Stone actress shared a poster of the newly released film on her Instagram story and penned uplifting words for the entire team. 

Alia wrote, "This #Crew has smashed the BO. Congratulations to these outstanding women on and off the screen."

The actress tagged not only the lead cast of the film but also the producers, Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.

It is pertinent to mention that Kareena, Tabu and Kriti's new film created history as it became the highest opening-day grosser female Hindi movie.

The movie, which was released yesterday, March 29, earned INR 20 crores globally on the first day of its release.

As of now, Crew has minted INR 41 crores worldwide. 

The movie's iconic trio Kareena, Tabu and Kriti expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their fans for showering love on their story.

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the film has been jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit.

Crew also features Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee.
