Parineeti Chopra pens heartfelt note for team 'Amar Singh Chamkila'
'Amar Singh Chamkila' stars Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles
Parineeti Chopra expressed immense gratitude to be a part of the upcoming Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila.
The Bollywood actress took to Instagram and showered praise on the director of the movie, Imtiaz Ali, her co-star and male lead Diljit Dosanjh, music director A. R. Rahman and the entire team.
Parineeti began her caption, stating, "I’m immensely thankful for Chamkila."
She added, "@imtiazaliofficial sir, your direction was unparalleled; you truly led the ship with finesse. Your vision and passion set a new standard."
Speaking of her "perfect" co-star Diljit, the Ishaqzaade actress said the Punjabi singer-actor made every moment on set "enjoyable and effortless."
Parineeti added, "@arrahman sir, being musically directed by you - a thing of dreams. And the entire team who made this film."
The actress admitted, "Shooting this film has topped any other film experience because I got to sing and act - 2 things I’m the most passionate about, so thank you."
It is pertinent to mention here that the upcoming film is a biopic based on the tragic murder of the renowned Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila.
The movie is set to stream on Netflix from April 12.
