Cristiano Ronaldo’s fans are concerned after the Al Nassr player showed off his battered, red feet while recharging at a Saudi Arabian resort.
The bangs and bruises appear to have caught up with Ronaldo, since he has been playing professional football for the past two decades, according to Daily Star.
Fans couldn't look past his swollen feet when the Portuguese megastar shared a snap relaxing on a sun bed.
As images of the event quickly went viral, football fans on social media were worried for the former Manchester United player.
One fan said: "22 years of pro footy man look at his feet...he wakes up with crazy pain everyday for sure!"
"This one of the silent battle players have to go through imagine the pain," a second said. While a third added: "This is the price you pay as the best player in the world."
"Football isn't chess; the pain and agony involved are huge," a fourth said. Another added: "This is crazy man the one thing you can’t question about him is his dedication and love for the sport!"
When Ronaldo made his debut for Sporting Lisbon B, he had been playing professional football since the 2002-03 season. He has been known as one of the greatest players in the history of football.
