Why did Rihanna perform barefoot at Anant Ambani, Radhika's pre-wedding event?

Rihanna, the Hollywood singing sensation amazed the crowd in Jamnagar  at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's lavish pre-wedding party on March 1, 2024.

Despite not performing live for seven years, she captivated everyone with her presence with her incredible performance.

However, what surprised many was seeing her dance without shoes on stage.

As reported by Entertainment Tonight, an eye witness told, "Rihanna performed for about 40 minutes at the pre-wedding. She was happy to be back performing with a smile. She had her own energy and aura onstage."

"While singing 'Diamonds' she had fireworks in the background, which was the cherry on top."

When questioned about why the singer chose to perform without shoes, the source mentioned, “She performed barefoot, which was an homage to the Indian culture. She didn't have any wardrobe changes but added a pink cap at the end of her performance."

The 36-year-old International star wore a bright green outfit with a sparkly gown and no shoes as she performed on stage. 

Rihanna matched the luxurious surroundings and danced with her backup dancers in front of about 1200 people.
