Deepika Padukone blames her 'Kalki 2898 AD' co-star Prabhas' food for her big belly
Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD is set to arrive in theaters on June 27, 2024
Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone explained the amusing reason for her prominent belly.
During her presence at the pre-release event for Kalki 2898 AD, alongside her fil co-stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, the 38-year-old actress humorously attributed her bump to Prabhas' delicious food on set.
The Bajirao Mastani actress said, “I’m actually like this because of all the food Prabhas fed me," on which Prabhas laughed.
Deepika went on to say, “It got to the point where it was a full catering service, not just food from home. He feeds from the heart."
For the occasion, Deepika showcased her baby bump in a sleek bodycon black dress, her hair tied up in a ponytail.
Ahead of the event, the Pink actress shared several pictures on her Instagram, captioning it with, “Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!."
The film, Kalki 2898 AD will release in theaters on June 27, 2024.
For the unversed, Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh announced their first pregnancy on February 29, revealing that the baby is due in September.
The couple tied the knot on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy after dating for six years.
Moreover, Deepika is also set to star in Rohit Shetty's film Singham Again, alongside Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff.
