Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams drop music video for ‘Doctor (Work It Out)’
Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams first wrote ‘Doctor’ over a decade ago
Miley Cyrus showed off her dance moves in the music video for her song collaboration with Pharrell on Doctor (Work It Out).
On Saturday, March 1, the long-awaited song was finally made available for streaming across various platforms.
Miley and Pharrell also dropped a music video for the new groovy track, showcasing the Flowers hitmaker channeling her 2024 Grammys look from earlier this month in a shimmery dress and fabulous blowout.
In the new video, the multi-Grammy winner is seen dancing to the track as she lip-syncs to the lyrics of the new track, in which she portrays a doctor who specialises in love.
“I could be a doctor I could be a nurse / I think I see the problem, it’s only gonna get worse / A midnight medication, just show me where it hurts / I need to rock you baby, before your body burns / Can we work it out?” she croons.
Interestingly, Pharrell first wrote Doctor a decade ago for Miley’s 2013 album Bangerz. The unreleased song was then leaked online in 2017.
About working with the Hannah Montana star, Pharrell told Bullett magazine in 2012, “Her voice is unreal. She’s got that amazing low tone. It sings like it’s from ’79.”
