Princess Kate received a touching message during Prince William’s visit to a synagogue as the future King returned to public duties on Thursday.
Prince William, who attended a synagogue in London to discuss the rise of anti-Semitism in the UK on Thursday, kept silence when a 94-year-old lady spoke of his sweet wife.
The Prince of Wales, who missed a memorial service for his late godfather on Tuesday due to “personal reasons”, made a surprise appearance at an event at Western Marble Arch Synagogue in Central London to discuss the rise of anti-Semitism in Britain.
During the event, the Prince met with 94-year-old Renee Salt who told William: "I’m sorry, I’m sure that if your wife would’ve been well, she would’ve been here. I miss her so much. Give her my best wishes, please."
William appeared getting emotional to have such an encouraging and touching words from the lady about his wife Kate who is currently recovering from abdominal surgery at her Windsor home and is not expected to return to royal duties until after Easter.
