At DRV PNK Stadium, the Atlético Newell's Old Boys, an Argentine sports club based in Rosario, Santa Fe, faced Inter Miami in their last friendly match before the 2024 MLS season. 

Lionel Messi, the star of that specific show played for sixty minutes to get ready for a complete match, according to Goal.

Following the game, there was a rush to get photos with Messi, and the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner was more than eager to oblige. 

Additionally, he gave away his renowned No 10 jersey, with one fortunate opponent receiving a priceless keepsake.

The player in question was Esteban Fernandez, who emerged victorious in the competition to receive a shirt exchange pledge from Messi. 

The 22-year-old was beaming in the Newell's dressing room as he proudly displayed a recent addition to his collection of kits.

Messi had a difficult preseason with Inter Miami, causing quite a sensation when he skipped an exhibition match in Hong Kong.
