PESHAWAR: Allama Syed Muhammad Jawad Hadi, a former senator and principal of the Jamia Shaheed Ariful Hussaini, has successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Seerat Studies Department of the University of Peshawar.
His research topic was “Shia Sunni Mushtarika Rewayaat Aur Ahadees Mey Seerat-e Payambar Ekraam”.Dean of Faculty, Dr Syed Muhammadul Hasanat, Chairman Islamyat Department, Dr Merajul Islam, Chairman, Seerat Studies Department, Dr Ziaullah, Professor Dr Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor, a noted Persian language scholar, Professor Syed Ghayyur Hussain, Ali Yousefi, Director General of the Iranian Cultural Centre, Peshawar, faculty members and students were present on the occasion.
Allama Muhammad Jawad Hadi completed his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Professor Dr Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor who was also present on the occasion.Dr Abdul Ghafoor shed light on the efficacy and usefulness of the topic. He said the research would strengthen the efforts being made for the Muslim unity.
