Security situation of Kurram reviewed

PARACHINAR: Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Umar Ahmad Bukhari and Kohat General Officer Commander Major General Shahid Naeem on Wednesday visited Kurran district and reviewed security situation there.

Upon their arrival at the Ghakhi area of Para Chamkani in central Kurram by helicopter, Brigadier Ali Anjum of the 117 Brigade welcomed them.They met with army personnel, appreciated their performance, instructed them to remain more vigilant for the complete elimination of lurking threats in the area and encouraged them.

They were briefed on the security situation and the operations and actions being carried out against terrorists. The officers also discussed the current threats in the area and the measures being taken to counter them.
