Memorial service arranged for late Dr Murad Ali

PESHAWAR: A memorial service was arranged at the Northwest General Hospital for senior sonologist Prof Dr Murad Ali who passed away recently.

The service was attended by his family, friends and colleagues.

The speakers paid rich tributes to Dr Murad Ali, who was not just a sonologist but also co-founder of Sarhad Conservation Network, an advocacy group engaged in protection, conservation of ecosystem along with promoting and preserving the KP cultural heritage.

They said Dr Murad was one of senior-most members of Northwest General Hospital, and a pioneer of sonology in KP, adding he had a vast experience in sonology spanning more than three decades. The speakers said Dr. Murad’s passing away has left a huge void in the medical field, which would be very hard to fill.
