ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Special Assistant on Higher Education Kamran Bangash visited Higher Education Commission (HEC) for discussion on various matters pertaining to higher education in KP.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department (HED) Peshawar team was led by Kamran Bangash (SACM) on higher education accompanied by Dr Shafiq-ur-Rehman, advisor Quality Assurance, Imran Ullah Khan Marwat, Director Quality Assurance and Dr Fazl Hadi, Director Academic.
The main agenda of meeting was implementation of associate degree in non-BS colleges in KP as KP has already implemented it since Fall-2020. Further undergraduate policy implementation was also discussed. Financial issues in universities were discussed and long term planning in this regard was discussed to avoid problems in future.
The HEC team appreciate HED KP for their support to HEC on various matters of higher education. Both side assure full support and strengthening coordination with each other.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has no issue if the HEC is going to extend its policies implementation as KP universities and colleges have already implemented both from Fall-2020.
