TANK: Vaccination of prisoners against novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) was completed in Tank district sub-jail.
Jail police with support of the Tank Health Department arranged the vaccination for the prisoners. In order to protect the citizens from the pandemic, corona vaccination is underway in the district. All the jail staff has also been vaccinated.
The DHO office has taken special measures for ensuring vaccination in government departments in the light of directives of the provincial government and directives of inspector general prisons, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A special desk has been set up in various departments. Amjad Khan Mehsud, Superintendent Tank Sub-Jail, thanked DHO Dr Ihsanullah Bhittani for extending cooperation.
He said that the process of corona vaccination was completed in three phases. The special desk vaccinated 24 police personnel, staff and 52 prisoners of Tank Sub-Jail.
