HARIPUR: A man was shot dead over unknown reasons in Khalabat Township, police said on Thursday.
Police said that Mehboob Hussain and Waris Khan, both residents of Khalabat Township, exchanged harsh words over some unknown reasons and the former opened fire on the latter with a 30 bore pistol, killing him on the spot. The accused managed to escape after committing the crime, police said.
