DIR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Deputy Secretary Health Dr Kalim Baloch visited the Upper Dir district to examine arrangements at quarantine centres and isolations centres for coronavirus patients.
During his visit, he checked the main entry checkpoint at Akhagram and also went to quarantine centres in Wari, Barawal and Dir along with respective tehsils administrations and health department officials.
He met the quarantined persons and asked about their health and arrangements made for them.
He also advised the health staffs deployed in quarantines centres to keep special care of the quarantined people provide them balanced diet and ensure distance among them all the time.
He also visited the District Headquarters Hospital in Dir and visited the isolation centre and held a meeting district administration and health department officials.
Deputy Commissioner Khalid Iqbal Khattak, District Health Officer Dr Fayyaz Ali, MS DHQ Hospital Dr Imtiaz Ahmad and others were present in the meeting.
