Power supply restored

MULTAN: The power supply to 35 out of 79 Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) feeders was restored as the feeders were affected due to heavy rain and thunderstorm on Thursday night. According to Mepco spokesperson Jamshed Niazi, the power supply was suspended in Multan, Muzaffargarh, DG Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan and Vehari areas. He said that distribution system was affected at various places due to heavy winds and added that operation staff was working as per the directions of Mepco CEO Tahir Mahmood. He said that electricity supply to the remaining affected feeders would also be restored soon.

In case of any complaint, they can contact at 03011176906, said a spokesperson for the Children Complex here on Friday. The step had been taken to urge the people not to visit the health facility due to coronavirus issue, he concluded.
