TIMERGARA: Residents of various villages staged protest against the delay in gas supply to Lower Dir.
The dwellers of Sheikhan, Naway Killay, Mian Banda, Khugyani, Khema, Balambat and Malakand Payan and Bala staged a protest rally at Shaheed Chowk. The protester blocked the road for traffic and chanted slogans against the government. They warned of launching a protest campaign if the work on the project was not resumed. They also lauded Senator Zahid Khan for launching the project. They said that certain political elements wanted to sabotage the gas supply project and deprive the people of their right.
