BANNU: A former Khassadar was shot dead in Bakakhel area over an old dispute on Thursday, police said. Khalid Khan reported to the police that his brother, Taj Muhammad, a former Khassadar, was on his way to Bannu when Rehman and his brother, Lambay, allegedly opened fire on him at Kotka Haroon, leaving him dead. The police registered the case and launched an investigation. The motive behind the murder was stated to be an old enmity.
