LANDIKOTAL: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Fata deputy chief Zar Noor Afridi has said that the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) and Actions (in Aid of Civil Power) Regulation (2011) were a violation of the human rights.
Speaking at a news conference here on Wednesday, Zar Noor Afridi said that the Actions (in Aid of Civil Power) Regulation was worse than FCR.He added that both the laws violated basic rights of the people of Fata.
Zar Noor asked the government and governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to empower the tribal citizens by holding local government elections in the tribal region so that people could be brought into mainstream.
