DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday registered a case against unknown assailants for killing two policemen, police sources said.
The case has been registered under the Terrorism Act against unknown accused who gunned down two police personnel Syed Nasir Abbas Shah and Syed Ali Amarwho werereturning homeafter performing duty at Kotli Imam Hussain.
Earlier, the funeral prayer of the martyred police jawans was offeredatPolice Lines in Dera Ismail Khan city.
Meanwhile, Regional Police Officer Syed Fida Hassan Shah, District Police Officer Raja Abdul Saboor, Station Commander Brigadier Muhammad Atif Mansha and others at a ceremony paid tributes to the slain policemen. The martyredjawans were buried at their native villages Kathgadhand Sagvi Matwala Shah with state honours.
