Speaking at a news conference here on Monday, he said the so-called champions of the rights of the youth did nothing for them and that was the reason they were joining other parties.

A number of young youth from the PTI announced joining JUI-F on the occasion.

Haji Ghulam Ali, who served as district nazim in the past said, the local government system had failed as the district nazims had no powers. He said the PTI rulers had promised to provide jobs to the youth, but they couldn’t honour the pledge.

The JUI-F leader said the district government couldn’t even provide clean drinking water to the people but the so-called champions of change had increased water charges.

Terming it injustice with the people, he said the provincial government had signed an agreement with a private company for sanitation. He expressed concern over increasing cases of dengue and silence of the provincial and district governments over its spread. He quoted district nazim saying that he had no power to carry out anti-mosquito spray.
