Speaking at a press conference in Matta in Swat, he said that India was behind the terrorist attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He alleged that Indian agents entered the two provinces from Afghanistan and Iran to carry out acts of sabotage in the country.

He said that India considered the multi-billion dollars China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) a threat and was against the project.

He said that the violations of the ceasefire on the Working Boundary and Line of Control (LoC) were reaction to the fortune changer project. “That is why India is resorting to use of heavy weaponry and targeting innocent civilians along the LoC,” he added.

The JUI-F leader said that the war would be fought in Indian territory if it tried to impose war on Pakistan. “Pakistan is a nuclear state and the people are proud of its armed forces,” he added.

He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government failed to come up to the expectation of the people. “The people had voted for the party in the previous general elections and they are now regretting it,” he said. He hoped that the people would choose right leadership in the next general elections.
