MANSEHRA: Girls outshined boy students by clinching top three positions in BSc and BA examinations results announced by Hazara University here on Monday.
The controller of examination, Hazara University, Dr Azhar Hussain Shah, announced the results at a ceremony attended by position holders and their parents. As many as 7,112 students passed the examination out of 18,183 candidates. The result was recorded as low as 39 per cent.
The controller said that in BSc examination Syeda Nadira Anwar of Noor College for Girls clinched the first position. She was followed by Fatima Rasheed and Mariam Hanif of Fatima-tu-Zuhra Postgraduate College for Girls, Mansehra, who secured second and third positions respectively.
In BA examinations, the first position was secured by Nimra Malik of FEF College for Girls. She was followed by Naila Qadir of Noor College for Girls while the third position was clinched by Ayesha Waheed of Government Postgraduate College No 1 Abbottabad.
