Tim McGraw fans concerned for his wellbeing despite him laughing off his onstage fall
Tim McGraw is taking a recent onstage stumble in stride, laughing off after tripping and falling on his back during a concert in Ohio.
The 59-year-old country star experienced the mishap on Thursday night while performing one of his classic hits during his current tour.
Yet, he laughed off the moment both onstage and online, even sharing the video that documented the embarrassing fall after addressing the hole on the stage floor.
"Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot even if I couldn’t stay on mine," he captioned the post with a laughing emoji, further adding, "We appreciate you coming out and singing along! Detroit, you’re up!"
Several fans expressed relief that the singer was still doing okay after such a fall at age 59.
"I’m glad you are okay and can laugh about it now!" wrote one person while another wrote, "Thank God you weren't seriously hurt. Your ego will recover."
A third added, "Kind of refreshing to see an entertainer who makes the most of an “embarrassing” situation!"
Reports say the concert had already started later than planned due to weather-related delays. Despite the setback, McGraw continued with his performance schedule, with additional shows following in Michigan and beyond over the next days.
