Why Hayden Panettiere keeps coming back to Brian Hickerson despite domestic violence?

Brian Hickerson's sister has spilled some dark secret of their family amid the Hayden Panettiere death investigation.

Following the tragic loss of the Nashville star, fingers have been raised at her on-and-off boyfriend, Brian, notably at the time of her passing she was staying in an Airbnb with Brian and his brother Zach Hickerson.

Brian's sister, Ashley Hickerson, emphasized that it was her brother's charisma that Hayden kept coming back to Brian despite the ups and downs in their relationship.

“If I can say one thing about Brian, it’s that he is the most charismatic person and he draws you in, she told DailyMail on Monday.

She went on to say, “I get why Hayden was with him, Brian is just the type of person who can make you laugh no matter what, and he can be fun.”

Hayden first met Brian back in 2018 and had a tumultuous relationship with him since then.

Reflecting on Brian's history of alleged abuse and his childhood, she noted that he was not raised this way.

“We all have our demons. Brian was not raised that way,” she said. “It wasn’t until he got into drugs that he went south.”

It is pertinent to mention that Brian has been arrested multiple times for domestic violence against Panettiere.

Even before meeting Hayden, Brian, as per the outlet, was arrested in November 2010 and charged with two counts of third-degree assault and battery by mob, alongside David, his dad, and Zach.

Brian's sister claimed that despite his issues, he acknowledges it and that their family is also grieving Hayden's loss, despite their strained relationship.

“He did seek treatment and he was getting help. He did own up to his s***," Ashley noted, adding, “My family is really feeling this loss as well."
