King Charles, Prince William warned about key danger for monarchy

King Charles and Prince William have been issued a stark warning about the key danger the British monarchy could face in the upcoming years.

The warning has come from a royal expert days after Meghan Markle and Harry’s meeting with the king in UK.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has suggested that "a path is being cleared by the King for reconciliation".

There are also claims the meeting will be used by Harry and Meghan to "inveigle themselves" back into a "half-in, half-out" role.

However, the insiders have claimed William is thought to be doubling down on his decision to keep his estranged brother Harry at a distance.

Fitzwilliams said: "The most disastrous thing that could happen to the monarchy would be a falling out between King Charles and Prince William, who together with his family, is its future.

"The King would obviously be unwise to approach this without [his older son’s] support as it could be incendiary. This presents a huge challenge for whoever succeeds Sir Clive!"

King Charles and Queen Camilla reunited with Harry and Meghan and their two children last month at the monarch’s Highgrove estate in western England.

It was King Charles first meeting with his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet since 2022.

Prince Harry is also expected to return to Britain in September.
