Meghan Markle is seeing a sharp intake in her resentment, as fears surrounding her upcoming rom-com for Netflix, The Wedding Date sees details get ironed out.
For those unversed, the movie is based on the book by a New York Times bestselling author Jasmine Guillory.
A well placed insider explained everything during their interview with Star magazine.
According to them the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are starting to feel the stress that comes with launching such a ‘make-or-break’ adaptation because, “there is so much riding on this movie being a success.”
There are also reports alleging Meghan is “saying this is make-or-break time and she wants all hands on deck.”
The same insider didn’t end there, and instead goes on to add, “Meghan feels like they’ve finally got a real shot at making a huge hit,” with this project but “if this movie does as well as people are predicting, it could dig them out of their slump.”
“His lack of enthusiasm is driving Meghan crazy and it’s bringing up a lot of resentment on her part for what she sees as his total lack of engagement,” the source even added.
Furthermore, “she’s sure that if he were to throw himself into the Hollywood game the way she has, they’d be way more successful.”
However, on the flip side Prince Harry’s priorities are seemingly miles apart because “Harry wants his life’s work to feel meaningful,” the source explained. He’s fine to take a token role in Meghan’s projects, but he has no desire to live and breathe Hollywood anymore and that is not going over well with Meghan,” they added before signing off.
