Zootopia 2 writer Jared Bush has unveiled how Disney put a restriction on limiting the number of puns in animated film.

The team working behind the first Zootopia film ignored the directions they were given to add certain number of puns in the write up.

In conversation with SFX magazine, he added that the first movie featured only five puns, but they have taken it to a whole new level for the second film.

"I do love a pun. On the first film, we got a note that said, 'You can have a total of five puns in this movie”, added the writer.

He continued, "This is absolutely true. It was early on. We disregarded that note and put a billion in there."

In the new sequel featuring Jason Batman and Ginnifer Goodwin, besides the puns in character names and dialogues, audience will get to see signs reimagined versions of iconic brands.

While talking about Zootopia 2, Bush said, "You'll see a ton of advertisements and brand labels. It is aggressive and we love it."

Without giving much spoilers, the screenwriter added that the most iconic pun appears when Nick is look on something called HuluZoo streaming service.

Directed by Bush and Byron Howard, the upcoming animated includes voiceovers by Shakira Macaulay Culkin, Robert Irwin, Ke Huy Quan and many more.

Zootopia 2 is slated to release on November 26.
