Chris Hemsworth unveiled the poster for his new thriller, perfectly timed as a real-life Louvre heist hit the headlines.
Talk about art imitating life, the Crime 101 makers chose the wildest week possible to drop the trailer of a new high-stakes movie, starring Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan and Halle Berry, right in the middle of a multi million robbery in Paris.
Shortly after the three-minute preview was released on Youtube, the Thor star took to his Instagram to excite fans with the official poster.
"Incredible poster for Crime 101. In theaters February 13th," he captioned the fresh sleek and cinematic design, featuring the silhouette of a masked man/robber with a cityscape embedded within the outline.
The bold movie title written in white block letters takes the center space with the leading stars’ names mentioned as well.
Directed by Bart Layton and based on Don Winslow’s novella, Crime 101 is set to hit the theaters on February 13, 2026.
For the unversed, on October 19, around 9:30 am, a gang of four masked professional thieves, disguised as construction workers in high-visibility vests, arrived outside Galerie d'Apollon.
They reportedly spent just four minutes inside the museum to steal eight items from the French Crown Jewels, valued at €88 million, before escaping down the lift and zooming off on scooters.
What was stolen in the 2025 jewelry heist?
The thieves took several priceless jewels belonging to French royalty, including a tiara, brooch, and emerald and sapphire sets worn by empresses and queens from the 19th century after the cameras at the museum failed to detect burglars in time.
