Ben Affleck reportedly having a problem with the growing friendship between Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel.

Affleck and Damon have been known to be closed pals for decades. They even launched a joint production company by the name Artists Equity in 2022.

Sources claim that the Jason Bourne actor has grown closer to the popular late-night show host.

Allegedly, the duo has started spending much more time together. They now go on vacations and spend time with each other’s families too.

As per an insider, “They’re inseparable. It’s a bromance beyond the bit.”

As far as Ben is concerned in this case, “He acts like he’s fine with it, but deep down it hurts,” an informant told Robshutter.

The Deep Water star feels like he has been "replaced" with Jimmy in Matt’s life.

“For years it was Ben and Matt against the world. Now it feels like Ben’s been replaced”, sources said, while adding, “Jimmy makes Matt laugh in a way Ben can’t.”

According to sources, “Ben can’t hold onto wives or friends. He blames everyone else, but he comes across needy. Meanwhile, Matt’s found his new best friend and it isn’t Ben.”

Even though, there are personal tensions between the two best friends, but they are still very much linked together professionally.

Damon and Affleck will be coming together in an action thriller named The Rip, backed by Netflix and produced under their own production company.

The upcoming movie is set to premiere on the streaming giant on January 16, 2026.
