The Matrix star, in an interview, revealed that he was almost going to quit the film due to a serious injury.

He told The Hollywood Reporter that he cracked his "kneecap like a potato chip" while filming the action-comedy film.

Keanu explained, "My knee went. I snapped my kneecap vertically, like a potato chip. As the pain was coming up, I was like, ‘Oh f***. This is not good. This is quite bad.’ There was a lot of blood."

But the actor remained committed to the project and chose to stay in it.

According to the Canadian actor, Good Fortune is a film that reflects the inequity existing in a society.

"There are sociological, cultural, wage-disparity and status questions being investigated in the film with a really delicate hand — but a hand”, added Reeves.

He is hopeful that the upcoming movie may bring in some kind of understanding, compassion and. “I think that’s what makes it a work of art”, said the Speed star.

Directed by comedian Aziz Ansari, the film features the creator himself along with Seth Rogen and Keanu.
