Dylan O’Brien and Tyler Posey, who co-starred in hit supernatural drama Teen Wolf, reunited during the Twinless premiere.
At the event at Los Angeles, O’Brien, who stared and executive produced the film, met Posey on the red carpet.
The two best friend then quickly exchanged a bear hug that lasted for a while as Posey congratulated O’Brien on his new movie.
The unexpected reunion sparked nostalgia among fans, seeing their two favourites on-screen BFFs together.
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their emotions.
"TELL ME YOU'RE CRYING TOO," one fan wrote. While another added, "They were away for so long, I can’t lose them ever again."
A third fan who still seemed to be processing the reunion, wrote, "I genuinely just got my Twitter working again and Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Posey reunited?!?!!?!???? And you expect me to be okay??!"
"Do you think they had the same nostalgic rush as the rest of us and lowkey also wanted to die?" another fan wondered.
The reunion came eight years after Teen Wolf TV series ended. Dylan didn’t appear in Teen Wolf: The Movie in 2023, nor was he able to attend Tyler’s wedding to musician Phem later that year.
But his absence did not make any difference between their friendship as Posey insisted there was "no love lost" between them over the movie.
Twinless is set to premiere on September 5.
