Jennifer Lopez is ready to show a different side to her talent as the trailer for her upcoming movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman, is finally out.
The 55-year-old actress is marking her debut in a movie musical in the film adaptation of the 1993 Broadway classic as she steps into the titular role, Aurora.
The On The Floor hitmaker’s character is a mysterious siren who haunts the dreams of a political prisoner in a South American jail.
J.Lo was seen singing and dancing in the trailer set to John Kander and Fred Ebb's award-winning score.
The movie, which comes out in fall, is written by Bill Condon, who earned an Oscar for his movies Dreamgirls and Beauty and the Beast.
While Lopez herself, her ex Ben Affleck and Matt Damon along with 12 other people are the co-producers on the project.
Previously talking about the film, the songstress and actress admitted that this role has been "the most challenging and rewarding role I’ve ever had."
She added at the time, "It’s a dark story, but also one about love and survival — about helping each other through hard times. I think that’s a message we really need right now."
