Ana de Armas is set to star alongside Keanu Reeves in the highly anticipated film Ballerina, which hits theaters on June 6.
In a recent interview with Women's Wear Daily, de Armas shared her excitement about working with the legendary actor.
"I grew up watching his movies, 'Speed' and 'Matrix' and so many others, and back then I couldn't believe I was working with him," de Armas said.
"But even now, being part of something that means so much to him and that he has invested so much in... by joining the film, it was as if he had given me his blessing or passed the torch to me."
The Ghosted star also praised Reeves' work ethic, saying, "He's relentless. He's like me: we're perfectionists. We want to do it over and over again, and it's never enough. So it's hard to say 'cut' when we're filming."
The film Ballerinais a spin-off of the John Wickuniverse, taking place between chapters three and four of the saga. With de Armas and Reeves starring together, fans are eagerly awaiting the film's release.
