‘Nobody Wants This’ announces season 2 release date

Nobody Wants This, starring Adam Brody as Noah and Kristen Bell as Joanne, is confirmed to premiere soon on the streaming platform.

Partially inspired by real-life story of creator Erin Foster, the first season followed the unlikely pairing between an agnostic outspoken podcaster and an unconventional rabbi after meeting at a dinner party.

The cast of the hit Netflix series announced that season 2 will premiere on October 23, 2025.

The news was shared by the cast and crew, including Bell, Brody, Justin Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn, as well as series creator Erin Foster and executive producer Sara Foster live on stage at FYSEE LA Emmy Event celebrating season one.

The original cast will return alongside few new additions. Leighton Meester, Brody's wife, will guest star as Abby, an Instagram mommy influencer and Joanne’s childhood nemesis.

Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky and Arian Moayed will also appear in the upcoming season.

Previously, Foster discussed with Variety magazine about the fan reactions and how creating the show was "a career highlight."

"To experience viewers' reactions to this series now that it’s out in the world has been more than anything I could have dreamed," she said at the time of season one release.

Foster will return as an executive producer alongside her sister, Sara Foster, for Season 2.

Newcomer Nora Silver will join as an executive producer, as well as Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, who will also serve as showrunners.
