PESHAWAR: Armed robbers shot and injured a policeman on Charsadda Road on Sunday.An official said constable Naeemullah was on way to his duty in Qazi Killay when armed motorcyclists intercepted him near Charsadda Road Ring Road chowk. The armed robbers snatched his phone and bike and opened fire on the cop. The injured cop was taken to hospital. Meanwhile, there were reports that unidentified armed men fired shots on the house of an assistant sub-inspector in Chamkani. No casualty was reported in the incident.
