Alkhidmat Foundation, KP Technical Board ink MoU

PESHAWAR: Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical and Commerce Education have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize collaboration on the “Alkhidmat Bano Qabil” program.

Under the agreement, IT courses conducted across the province by Alkhidmat Foundation will now be officially recognized by the Technical Board and successful participants will receive certification upon completion.

The MoU was signed by Khalid Waqas, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Dr Hazrat Hussain, Chairman of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Board. The agreement also includes provisions for technical support, program endorsement and increased cooperation between the two institutions to enhance skill development opportunities.

Prior to the signing, Dr Hazrat Hussain, along with Board Secretary Rehmanuddin, Deputy Director IT Muhammad Ismail, Controller of Examinations Yasir Khan Sadozai and Nadeem Jan from the Finance Department visited the Alkhidmat Foundation’s provincial headquarters here.

During the visit, Khalid Waqas Chamkani briefed the delegation on Alkhidmat Foundation’s ongoing welfare initiatives across the province. Special emphasis was given to the Bano Qabil program, which offers free IT courses to students to empower youth through digital skills and education.

The collaboration will prove a significant step in aligning private-sector skill development initiatives with formal accreditation and enhance the employability of youth across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khalid Waqas said.
