The protesters chanted slogans such as “Release Imran Khan” as they expressed their support for the former premier, who has been in jail since 2023 following a series of

legal cases and convictions, including charges of corruption and state secrets

violation.

PTI workers and supporters alleged that the cases filed against Imran Khan were politically motivated and aimed at sidelining Khan from politics.“Imran Khan has always stood for the rights of the common people and raised his voice in difficult times,” said one of the speakers. “His imprisonment is unjust, and we demand his immediate release,” he added. The rally culminated outside the district press club in Landikotal.
