KOHAT: A protest rally was held here on Saturday to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army and condemn Indian aggression. The event was attended by a wide range of participants, including political, social, and religious figures, representatives of minority communities, members of the district administration, journalists, traders, and schoolchildren.
The demonstrators raised slogans against India’s alleged unjust and inhumane actions, and in a symbolic gesture, an effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was set ablaze at Kutchehry Chowk in Kohat. The participants voiced unwavering support for the armed forces and reiterated their commitment to stand by them under all circumstances.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers from various segments of society, including the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasised the role of the Pakistan Army as more than just a military institution.
“The Pakistan Army is our pride, our strength, and the guarantee of our security.
“These are the brave soldiers who stand firm on our borders, facing the enemy in harsh conditions so we can live in peace and freedom,” one of the speakers said.
They said that Pakistan is currently facing both internal and external challenges, and in such times, national unity and solidarity with the armed forces is essential to confront conspiracies and propaganda effectively.
