Pak Austria Fachhochschule holds projects exhibition

PESHAWAR: The annual exhibition of final-year projects was held at the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST), highlighting the creativity of students and the institute’s strong linkages with industry.

The event was graced by Abdul Karim Tordher, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Industries, as the chief guest. Rector of the Institute, Professor Dr Muhammad Mujahid, faculty members and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.

The exhibition took place in the newly established C2 Building and the adjoining Technology Park connected to the Special Technology Zone. Students presented innovative projects aimed at solving real-world problems, inspired by industrial collaboration and global academic exchange.

The Technology Park, supported by the Special Technology Zone, has emerged as a national hub for startups, applied research and industrial development, playing a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s innovation landscape and bridging the gap between academia and industry.

During his visit, Mr Tordher took a keen interest in the student projects and commended the academic and research standards maintained by the institute.He noted the institute’’s vital role in fostering excellence across diverse sectors and emphasized the importance of such institutions in nurturing the creative and technical potential of the youth.
