KOHAT: Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) organized an event on the theme “Youth Participation in National Youth Policy”.
Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, the university’s academic and administrative leadership, a large number of students, faculty members, and experts from various sectors.
Rana Mashhood shed light on the various initiatives under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.He emphasized that no child would be deprived of education or skills due to a lack of resources.
“The government has launched inclusive programmes aimed at empowering youth from all segments of society,” he said and pointed out that national growth was linked to youth empowerment.
He highlighted key initiatives such as the Digital Youth Hub, Talent Hunt Programme, and Girls’ Education Scholarships, which are designed to provide modern training, scholarships, and employment opportunities to the youth.
Earlier, KUST Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Naseeruddin, welcomed the chairman and praised the government’s initiatives. “These steps not only ensure a bright future for students but also contribute to the educational and economic development of the country,” he said.
Dr Kaleemullah, Director of the Prime Minister’s Youth Development Centre at KUST, shared insights about the center’s establishment, objectives, and ongoing contributions. He stated that the center plays a crucial role in guiding, training, and uplifting young individuals.
