MULTAN: Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan emphasised the importance of public welfare and horticulture in development projects and directed officials to expedite process of surveys and cost estimations for the development schemes.
Chairing a meeting on the proposed development schemes, Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan stressed the need for an effective strategy to complete development projects within the stipulated time frame. The meeting also examined the benefits, challenges, and possible solutions related to the proposed schemes.
Furthermore, to ensure public welfare, the use of modern technology and transparency in these projects was emphasized. It was decided that continuous progress reviews would be conducted in future meetings to ensure timely completion of the projects. Officials from MDA, PHA, Highways, and other development departments were also present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, launching a plan to beautify the city, Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan directed an emergency focus on city beautification, instructing the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) to trim damaged plants and plant seasonal flowers. A cleaner environment and pollution control plan is also in place.
