KARAK: A large number of people, under the banner of Khattak Ittehad, staged a protest rally on Sunday against the deteriorating law and order situation in the district.The demonstrators, including political leaders and community representatives, gathered at the Jail Ground and vowed to protect the district’s peaceful environment at all costs.
The event was addressed by prominent figures, including Provincial Agriculture Major (Retd) Muhammad Sajjad Barkwal, MNA Shahid Khan Khattak, former Senator and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Karak Chairman Khursheed Khattak MPA, and other former legislators and national leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders emphasized that the people of Karak were peace-loving and would not tolerate any attempt to disrupt harmony in the district. They stressed the need for unity beyond personal and political differences, declaring that peace is essential for progress and stability.Highlighting the sacrifices of the Khattak tribe in supporting the state, they urged authorities to ensure the protection of citizens. The speakers warned that ignoring the current situation could lead to disastrous consequences and reaffirmed their commitment to resisting any threats to peace.
