Blood donation camps arranged

PESHAWAR: The Frontier Foundation on Friday arranged blood donation camps to ensure the supply of blood for children suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other blood disorders.

A press release said at Dooley, Hira College, and Fatima Nursing College.The camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from the public and students, resulting in the collection of dozens of blood bags for children with hereditary blood disorders.

The Frontier Foundation team, including Ejaz Alam, Nauman Khan, Saddam Hussain, and others, received support from Dr Fazal Akbar, Principal Riaz Ahmed of Hira College, and Principal Muhammad Saddam of Fatima Nursing College.

Frontier Foundation Chairman Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem lauded the spirit of the donors, particularly the students, calling it exemplary. He said voluntary blood donors were a ray of hope for ailing children, and their commitment was an inspiration for others to follow.
