In his address to the party workers here, he said that the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif have used different tactics to sabotage the parleys with the government.

Asad Qaiser said that they strive to continue talks with the government in the best interest of the country as Pakistan faces isolation and economic backwardness.

“The country faces several complex issues,” he remarked. He said that life in the strategically important merged districts had been completely paralyzed. “People are fed up with the breakdown of law and order and now they are revolting, looking at these complicated scenarios. We initiated talks with the government while striving for peace and prosperity of the country,” he added.
