MANSEHRA: Babar Saleem Swati on Sunday said that the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital (KATH) was being upgraded to ensure quality healthcare services for the people of Mansehra, Torghar, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan and Kolai-Palas districts.
“The high-tech Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine is being installed and will be inaugurated within a couple of weeks to provide services to patients from across the upper parts of the Hazara division,” he added.
To a question, he claimed that he has always been neutral as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly speaker and opposition parties lauded his role in the House.“I am a soldier of Imran Khan, but nobody can question my neutrality as the Speaker of the KP Assembly inside the house,” he told media persons here.
In his first interaction with the media following his party’s talks with the federal government, Swati said that negotiations can occur even during a war.“Nobody can deny the importance of talks, which are the ultimate solution to all sorts of confrontations. Whatever my leadership decides about talks with the government might be in the larger public interest,” he added. “Those who used to grant National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) are now seeking the same clemency from the jailed leader,” he added.
