BANNU: Unidentified gunmen kidnapped a cop of Bannu police on Friday night, sources said on Saturday.
They said that Irfanullah Khan was serving as a beat officer in the District Security Branch (DSB). He was on his way home in the Miryan area of Bannu after offering the Isha prayer when unidentified armed men abducted him. The Miryan police have launched a search operation in the area.
